CSR Activities
The Durgapur Projects Ltd (DPL) is performing following CSR activities in and around the Trans Damodar Coal Mine areas through Block Development Officer, Barjora to keep the tranquility and harmony of the area since allocation of the mine in favour of DPL in the year 2015.
1. Supply of drinking water to the adjacent villages of the mine i.e, Chunpora, Virkasole, Paharpur, Gourbera, Jamadargram, Krishnanagar, Joysinghapur etc who are directly or indirectly affected for open cast coal mining;
2. Providing electricity for street lighting of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Colony (R&R) at Rongalejora village, Barjora;
3. House repairing for the villagers of Jamadargram, Barjora;
4. Development of village roads under Barjora & Ghutgaria Gram Panchayet.
The cost involvement for CSR activities in FY 2022-23 and 2023-24 is given herein below:
